What we collect

Your design. The title, dedication, answers and clues you type are sent to our server to build the preview. When you click "Approve this design" we store the design, a preview image and a random 6-character design code for 60 days so that we can print exactly what you approved. Unapproved previews are not stored.

Your order. Payment, your email address and the shipping address are collected by Gumroad at checkout under Gumroad's privacy policy. Gumroad sends us your email, name, shipping address and the design code so we can produce and ship the poster. We keep order records for 7 years for accounting.

Technical data. Our server logs IP addresses for rate limiting and abuse prevention (deleted after 30 days). We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.

Who we share it with

The print file and the recipient's shipping address are sent to our print partner, Prodigi (prodigi.com), who prints and ships from a US facility and shares them with the carrier. Transactional emails (order confirmation, answer key, tracking) are sent through Resend. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

Your rights

Email hello@clueandgrid.com to get a copy of your data or to have a design or order deleted (print records needed for accounting are retained). We answer within 7 days.

Children

Our service is for adults; we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
